Mark Webber led the way in Free Practice 1, with Sebastian Vettel way down the order. Webber did pull to a halt at the end of the session though, so running on fumes is a likely explanation. Kobayashi had a bit of a spin, whilst several drivers also struggled with the damp conditions.

One to Watch

Sebastian Vettel finished FP1 down in the midfield, which seems unusual for him, particularly as Webber went fastest. I can't imagine it's likely to stay that way, so it'll be worth keeping an eye on him to see what he can achieve in this second session.
