Formula One has returned and it is to Melbourne that we turn our attention for this first Free Practice session of the year. With brand new tyres to test out, no real knowledge of who is fast and who is slow, plus one team who have not managed to test their 2011 car at all, anything could happen over the next couple of days.

We've got new faces and old, some drivers retained, some returning, some just acting as deputy as a temporary measure. It's F1, and it's back!

Free Practice 1 will begin at 1:30am GMT and anyone who's anyone will be up and ready to watch.
