Welcome to the live comments for the IndyCar Grand Prix of Alabama, from Barber Motorsports Park!

This is the second event of the 2011 IndyCar season and takes place at the picturesque facility near Leeds, Alabama. It is quite a narrow course but there is one passing zone if they force it, although I am expecting this to be more of a strategy race.

The race is literally just getting under way as I type so there's little point going through the grid, but my money is on Will Power (if I had placed any money..). But as a road course, this is the best chance the others have of beating the Team Ganassi and Team Penske stronghold of wins in the series. Look for Justin Wilson and newcomer James Hinchcliffe to star. We'll discuss the rest in commenting, please do ask anything.
