2010 Petit Le Mans - America's take on the epic endurance challenge

Finally, Franck returns to the track after a prolonged disappearance, and it is for the 2010 Petit Le Mans race. The Peugeot and Audi battle heads to the Road Atlanta track, with Anthony Davidson riding high after a win at Silverstone.

The race lasts until teams have either covered 1,000 miles, or have been driving for 10 hours, although it is usually the distance that is the deciding factor.

Franck won the race last year, and he's determined to repeat the feat today, although Davidson pipped him to pole position. The two Peugeot cars led the two Audis in qualifying, though, which is a good start.

There are several classes of car out there, though, with LMP1 and 2 and maybe even some GT2. I am very knowledgeable on this subject, as you can tell.
