Tweets of the Week - Well done, well done, well done

Staying professional, analysing the season, and congratulations all round

The last race of the year has been and gone, and that brings us to the last Tweets of the Week of the year. Brazil saw off the season in a reasonable fashion. Mark Webber secured his first and last win of the year, and many of the teams and drivers let out huge sighs of relief as the long racing months drew to a close. Here I have selected the best ten tweets of the last seven days, although really, most of them are from the last day or so because that's when all the good stuff happened.

Tweets of the Week - It's not us! It wasn't me!

Animals on the track, and returning to the factory

Testing in Abu Dhabi has dominated the week, with young drivers taking the seats of the more established names and trying to prove they have what it takes to make the step up. The teams did a great job of covering the test via Twitter, and then seemed to take a well deserved break before beginning the ramp up to Brazil. We're heading to the last race of the year this weekend, and the teams are looking forward to it.

Tweets of the Week - Lots of rumours, my friends

Repeated silliness and keeping quiet on the future

It's been a pretty quiet week on Twitter, as everyone seemed to come down from all the excitement of the Indian Grand Prix. With Abu Dhabi next on the agenda, there was just time for a weekend off before the packing and flights started up again. Also this week, F1 seems to have hit the mainstream and has littered itself across the TV schedules. Here are my top ten tweets of the past seven days.

Tweets of the Week - Everyone's got an opinion

A brand new circuit, with experiences for everyone

This week, Twitter has been filled with everything happening in India. From the first arrivals, to discovering issues in the media centre, to dealing with hotel rooms, we've heard everything behind the scenes. Once the action got going, there has been talk of dogs on track, of how disappointing the racing was, but what an excellent host India was. Here are my top ten tweets of the week.

Tweets of the Week - Lessons in bravery

Bored drivers in Japan, what might they get up to?

We saw a champion crowned in Japan this week, and whilst there were plenty of congratulatory tweets, I have steered clear of them. It's hard to avoid Red Bull altogether, of course, so there are peripheral questions in amongst the tweets. There are also some interesting insights into what drivers do on their days off, plus a team rivalries hotting up. Here are my top ten tweets from the last seven days.

Tweets of the Week - Change is in the air at Monza

Looking for the logic in team movements

As all involved in Formula One turn their attention towards Suzuka, and what may potentially be the showdown of this year's driver title battle, there's still time for a moment of downtime between races. This week, there has been talk of Kimi Räikkönen appearing at Williams, some fun demonstrations going on in India, and plenty of movement in team technical departments as well. Here are my top tweets from the past seven days.

Tweets of the Week - Clock watching in Singapore

Graciously watching Formula One from the sidelines

Preparations for the Singapore Grand Prix are in full force on Twitter this week, as the drivers gear up for the calendar's only proper night race. Most will remain on a European time schedule which will be very odd, as a couple of the tweets below detail. Also this week, we have some confirmations of upcoming plans, and a couple of rumours quashed. These are my top ten tweets of the past week.

Tweets of the Week - Are you saying boo or...?

A bit of love for Bibendum, plus leaked news at Caterham

The Italian Grand Prix brought the European leg of the 2011 season to a close, and did so with Sebastian Vettel taking another victory. The repetitive nature of the result does not tell the full story of a race that was intriguing. A little bit of safety car here, a little bit of dodgy defensive driving there, and you've got a good race. Twitter has been full of thoughts on all the action at Monza this week, and here are my favourite top ten of recent days.

Tweets of the Week - Who would you want at the after-party?

Branching out from Twitter, and shooting down contract rumours

With a damp weekend at Belgium put firmly behind us, Formula One is turning its attention to Monza. Tweets have been pouring in with excitement about the upcoming race, whether it's because of potential action, DRS tweaks, or just the simple fact that Monza has acres of history and is something special. Here are ten of my favourite tweets from the past seven days, featuring thoughts on Monza and more!

Tweets of the Week - Time for history, no time for maths

Admitting mistakes, race analysis and honesty all the way

The waiting came to an end this past weekend, when Formula One returned to action around the epic circuit of Spa-Francorchamps. It was a packed weekend, from watching the F1 world road trip their way to Belgium, to Michael Schumacher crashing out in qualifying, to Sebastian Vettel stamping his mark on the championship once more. Here are ten tweets that highlight how this past week has gone.

Tweets of the Week - I'm gonna party like it's 1991

Waving goodbye to the summer and preparing for Spa

The summer break draws to a close and the Twitter streams begin to awaken from their enforced shutdown. With the Belgian Grand Prix just around the corner, teams and drivers are returning from their holidays and gearing up for action at the Spa-Francorchamps. Featured in my top ten tweets this week are some cycling action, a great view, anniversary celebrations and a little bit of forward planning.

Tweets of the Week - Who needs stewards when you've got Twitter?

All the reaction regarding Red Bull, Silverstone, and rule changes

This week, teams and drivers prepared for the British Grand Prix, coped with the wet weather at Silverstone, and came through the other side with another race complete. Twitter has been filled with speculation over whether Red Bull did the right thing, about the new buildings at Silverstone, and about the ongoing regulation changes. Here, though, are my favourite ten tweets from the past seven days.
