It's been a bit quieter on the rankings front over the past few days, as drivers make their way to Brazil and prepare for the last two races in this season's championship showdown! There's a lot of talk about how brilliant Brazil is, and what a wonderful atmosphere there is, so I can't give points to all the guys for being so positive. However, there are points at hand for nuptials, for chatting with your colleagues, and for getting techy on us.

Have you ever lassooed anything? - Christine's Rankings, Week 32

Drivers try all manner of activities ahead of the US race

In an effort to help promote Formula One to the US audiences, our F1 drivers tried all kinds of weird and wonderful hobbies in the build up to the race. Hülkenberg decided being a cowboy was the way to go, Hamilton did the TV circuit, Grosjean turned to food, and Ricciardo, well he practiced doing the accent instead. All of these things are pointsworthy and there's plenty more besides.

It's a massive week for rankings this week, as the Japanese Grand Prix weekend appears to have brought out the more relaxed side of our drivers. We've got videos galore, of bursting balloons, folding paper, and sitting face to face with the BBC's Tom Clarkson. There's also points for messing about with a cherry picker, and being the man in the terrifying mask.

As the drivers start preparing for the Malaysian Grand Prix, it's time to hand out a few points for actions I've spotted over the last few days. This time out, we've got some tricky questions in another Grill the Grid quiz, plus a driver answering his own Twitter Q&A with some important updates. Meanwhile, there's also more of the training battle, with a variety of different sports and activities on display.

Ah hahaha! - Christine's Rankings, Week 25

Retirements and racing, football and fun

The Italian Grand Prix itself might not have been the classic we wanted, but events surrounding the weekend certainly made up for any lack of on-track action. Drivers had little time to prepare for the race, jumping straight over to Monza from Spa, but they still found time for a spot of football on the home straight, and there appeared to be plenty of cake in the paddock for birthday celebrations.

An affection for a trophy collection - Christine's Rankings, Week 24

Summer break activities come to a crashing halt in Spa

After spending lots of time in the sunshine and recharging their batteries, the drivers returned to work this weekend. They had time to share some of their activities (more driving for some, training for others, messing about in the ocean for many) but then got on with the business of preparing to race. I've handed out points for celebrating in style but taken them away when those celebrations go over the top.

Daniel Ricciardo gets confused on the podium and in the press conference

Daniel Ricciardo might have had a good week out on track, finishing the German Grand Prix on the podium, but on the rankings table, things haven't gone so well. The Australian has lost his lead and dropped way back. On the flip side, Nico Rosberg didn't have the best weekend for his home race, but has inherited the lead of the rankings chart just in time for the summer break!

The Silverstone race is a good opportunity for home grown heroes to wow the crowds, and both Jenson Button and Lewis Hamilton jumped at the opportunity to do so. They're not the only ones picking up points this week though, as we've also got Esteban Gutiérrez giving his teammate just a bit of aggro, the Williams team making their very own ice creams and even Stoffel Vandoorne making an appearance.

Ready for the game - Christine's Rankings, Week 15

Football and wakeboarding, plus crossing the streams

Another week has flown by in a flash, and whilst there have been plenty of things happening on a worldwide scale, it's the minutae of the F1 drivers' lives that we care about. In this week's update, we've got points for turning up to Goodwood Festival of Speed and putting on a good show, bumping into other drivers at unexpected (or perhaps expected) places, and trying out some new sports.

The highs and lows of a brand new Baku race

Heading to a brand new circuit means drivers get a fresh set of surroundings, and can participate in a lot of new local traditions. Rather than visiting the koala bears at the zoo like they do in Australia, or wearing ten gallon hats in the USA, this time it was all about weaving carpets. As you do. Also this week, points for sharing cute baby pictures and for getting feisty in the press conference.

Strength, conditioning, training - Christine's Rankings, Week 10

Drivers prep for the glamorous but tricky Monaco race

This week's points go to drivers who have been supporting and spending time with their friends and family, as well as participating in demos, interviews and events that help promote charities and the sport itself. I haven't dished out points for the traditional Monaco football game, because there were at least 14 F1 drivers present and playing, which would dominate the graph this week!

This week, the racing was all about Max Verstappen taking home his first win - but he only gets a small mention on Christine's Rankings after posting a couple of videos on Dutch and English to say thank you. Elsewhere, Kimi Räikkönen gets his first points on the board this year after participating in a Finnish initiative to buy karts so that kids can have a go for free and see if they get a taste for this racing lack.
