And so it is, the final race of the 2008 season. This championship has simply flown by and now it all comes down to this final weekend in Brazil.

Autódromo José Carlos Pace is the destination as Sidepodcast takes a flying lap around the track that will host the deciding race on Sunday. Both trophies are still up for grabs, so join Christine as she looks at the current state of play and looks back upon the dramatic events that took place here in '07.

Toyota have little to gain and little to lose this weekend, so it'll come as no surprise that their attention is already wandering into preparations for next year. The Formula 1 circus never rests, so please enjoy the very last Sidepodcast preview for this year.

Special thanks go out to Allianz SE, Toyota Motorsports GmbH, AT&T Williams and RTV GmbH for the use of their video footage.

If you were following last Sunday's live streaming show, or if you've watched the replay, you'll likely be aware that we were suffering from streaming problems.

Despite our best efforts, both the primary live server (hosted by Justin.tv) and the secondary live server (hosted by Ustream.tv) failed us. It's not the first week we've suffered problems either, and it appears that as those two services gain in popularity so their reliability similarly suffers.

A solution would be to run our own streaming server, which is what we've spent the best part of the week figuring out.

Because we're new to all this, it seems like a good plan to give it a road test before Sunday. We were planning to record the green screen for last episode of Inside Track today, and as that was the show that started the live ball rolling, it seems only appropriate that it's the first show to run on the new equipment.

If you're around this evening, say about 8pm and you fancy helping us test this stuff, or if you wouldn't mind catching an early preview of the video, then please feel free to join us.

Although it hasn't been widely reported, and while certain factions of the racing community are keen to keep it hush hush, Formula One may be about to happen upon its very first night race.

It's difficult to escape the fact that the upcoming Grand Prix is an evening affair, and Inside Track is no exception. In this edition we hear from current drivers, ex-drivers, and the men behind the men, about what might lie in store this coming weekend.

Don't forget the obligatory lap of the circuit too. This one's a proper street circuit, so there's plenty to take in and who better to guide you around the twists and turns than Sidepodcast's one and only commentator, Christine. You wouldn't have it any other way, right?

Last year's Hungarian Grand Prix turned out to be something of a controversial affair, but what does this years race have in store? Join Christine as she takes a look at the never changing circuit layout, the qualifying events that irrecoverably altered last year's season for McLaren, and a quick recap of where the teams and drivers stand in this years championship.

Also we follow Gerhard Berger as he drives his own Scuderia Toro Rosso F1 car around one side of Lake Balaton, across the water via transport ferry and then back down the other side, entertaining fans at every turn. It might well be the first time a Formula One car has crossed the largest lake in Europe, but with a new racing circuit scheduled to open nearby in 2010, it may not be the last.

In this special edition of the show, join Sebastian Vettel for a once in a lifetime trip around the German track onboard a Red Bull helicopter. Vettel explains how to drive every inch of the course while quietly impressing himself with the spectacular views on offer.

We also catch up with the current state of the ever-so-close championship, but let's be honest, even that isn't enough to distract us from all the flying.

Last year Bernie Ecclestone claimed there would be no more outings to the Circuit de Nevers Magny-Cours, yet Formula One returns there once again. In honour of the track that, despite being almost universally loathed amongst paddock regulars, will not disappear, Sidepodcast takes a spin around rural France to see what's there to amuse our drivers this time out.

We also catch up with the sole French driver on this year's grid, Sébastien Bourdais. Hear his thoughts on his debut F1 season, the support of the fans and the French federation as well as racing in Magny-Cours. If one man (other than Bernie) can save France's place on the racing calendar, it's likely to be Le Seb.

Formula One takes an early breather from its European tour and heads across the Atlantic to Montreal for the Canadian Grand Prix. Following swiftly on from the lottery that was the Monaco weekend, Sidepodcast takes a look at what this year's sole North American race has to offer.

Last years event was the scene of one of motorsports most spectacular accidents, when Robert Kubica bounced off of a Toyota, a kerb and two concrete walls. Safety improvements have been made this year to prevent similar incidents, so join Christine on a hot lap of the track to make sure you're up to speed with the changes for 2008, and everything else you need to know about racing in Canada.
