Pool, table tennis, cycling and magic gather points on Christine's Rankings
In which the drivers pack in the points as the season draws to a close
Published by Christine Blachford

With just a few weeks left until the end of the season, and a similar amount until the end of Christine's Rankings, the drivers are having to up their game if they want to pick up points. And talking of games is very apt, as it's all about how they pass the time between races this week - with pool and table tennis particular favourites. Alonso and Glock have really gotten into the habit of featuring in YouTube videos, and Twitter is, of course, another mainstay of the rankings.
Here's how I have handed out the points this week.
Movements for Week 39
- +2 Rubens Barrichello: +2 for some rollercoaster fun with Massa.
- +3 Felipe Massa: +2 for some rollercoaster fun with Rubens. +1 for being scared of bungee jumping - sensible chap.
- +2 Jaime Alguersuari: +2 for sparing the time to answer Leigh's questions.
- +5 Mark Webber: +3 for distracting Button during pre-Korea GP interviews and +2 for tweeting during a haircut.
- +6 Fernando Alonso: +3 for being in a good mood and doing some magic. I don't understand what goes on, but it looks like fun. Also, +3 for some impromptu table tennis.
- -1 Heikki Kovalainen: -2 for watching X-Factor but +1 for retweeting Mr C who was plugging Amy's daily.
- +2 Karun Chandhok: +2 for taking notice of motorsport coverage. If he could go ahead and have a word with F1, that's be awesome.
- +3 Lewis Hamilton: +3 for a rather good spot on Blue Peter
- +2 Nico Rosberg: +2 for being a big geek on Photoshop.
- +10 Timo Glock: +3 for enjoying a nice tea break with cake, as featured on Tweets of the Week. +2 for indulging in a spot of pool (and a bonus +2 for being a bit rubbish at it and still posting a video). And finally, +3 for recording his Korean review video on a bike!
