Brazil offers up bumper opportunities for rankings points this week
In which Rubens goes karting and the press conferences are fun!

It was looking like a slow week for points ahead of the Brazilian Grand Prix, but once the weekend proper kicked off, there was much to behold. Teammates got on each other's nerves, and then became friends once more, drivers celebrated their home race, with each other, or with family. Qualifying offered up a surprise, and the race saw a championship won! Throughout all of that, I have picked out the items that deserve points, and here's how the table stands.
Movements for Week 40
- +6 Jenson Button: +3 for taking the British press out for dinner in Brazil. +2 for heading to Texas to thank oil cleanup workers for their sterling work. +1 for watching the press conference with Hamilton.
- +8 Rubens Barrichello: +4 for taking the team out karting. +4 for bringing his kids on the driver parade.
- +2 Felipe Massa: +2 for being amusing in the press conference.
- +2 Lucas di Grassi: +2 for being amusing in the press conference.
- +4 Bruno Senna: +2 for being Karun's technogeek consultant. +2 for messing with Lucas on the driver parade lap.
- +2 Vitaly Petrov: +2 for a good special access interview on the Japanese GP podcast from Renault.
- +2 Robert Kubica: +2 for a good special access interview on the Korean GP podcast from Renault.
- -2 Jaime Alguersuari: -2 because although I don't remember Dumb and Dumber that clearly, I know it is definitely not the best film ever.
- +2 Heikki Kovalainen: +2 for bringing his own breakfast to Brazil.
- +6 Mark Webber: +4 for being an all round good egg after the Brazilian GP, celebrating the championship even though he's a bit miffed at the team really. Plus an extra 2 for the fire extinguisher prank.
- +2 Karun Chandhok: +2 for being nice to everyone (bar a taxi driver), as Steven noted.
- +1 Lewis Hamilton: +1 for watching the press conference with Button.
- +5 Nico Hülkenberg: +5 because although on-track stuff is outside the remit of the rankings normally, it was the surprise of the year!
