Working and not being a tourist in London is boring. At least my flat is a bit tidier after I basically ignored any chores for a fortnight. :)

So glad the Olympics are over. I've been watching NASCAR Nationwide Road Course races and IndyCar to get over my wait for the F1 season to come back.

Try wholewheat spaghetti. It looks darker and tastes great but it is a little harder and less floppy so easier to handle with a fork.

That looks like a serious piece of kit. I would have thought what you really want for an autotest very direct throttle response rather than waiting for a turbo to spin up then kick in
Given the choice I can't say I blame them, I'd do the same. I'd drop the rest of F1 if I could have another London Olympics next year.
Live player should be there if you want to refresh. Dashboard and sidebar. Playground if all else fails :)

It's not a large turbocharger, I think just a TD04, so the response should be pretty quick. Then again, I haven't driven it, so I'll find out!

Watching the numbers on the F1 timing stream was more interesting that the TV coverage.

The throttle maps were changed so that the engine run harder at low revs - revs that would be used in slower-speed corners - thereby adding an EBD effect back into the mix.

Correct. The engine mapping was set up so that the engine revs weren't linear to the throttle position. Hence being illegal

Autosport is just going to get old people to use the paywall who don't know that they can go other places for F1 news.
Autosport+ is very good. It's not big enough but it is good. I don't understand the press releases, or the rewritten ones.
Also their coverage of non-F1 isn't the best, particularly sportscars which is often a week behind sportscar specialists.
Autosport... That magazine I read in ASDA on my walk around before putting it back where I got it from.
F1Technical.net is pretty good though

The magazine has got better again, by the way. It got dire for a while. Still keep thinking of cancelling / switching to one-off digital purchases but that's for my own monetary reasons.
