It's been a packed day in F1, a packed week come to think of it. With the cars being launched, the 2013 pre-season is starting to roll into action and we're rapidly heading towards the first test of the year. With a few things on our minds, such as launches and driver announcements, or a lack of them, it's time to get it all off our chests. Sit back and settle in for the first Feet Up Friday of the year, but do bear with us. We're, as ever, a little rusty.

I hear the fan before it stops so think is the power. Nice man in the shop will let me know what it costs to fix but I've had it 5 years so it's done ok.

The step is still there - because that is the load-bearing / crash structure. The panel is just 1 sheet of fibre to make the shape.

As someone who paid for the F1 last year, I personally wouldn't pay for it again. Really shoddy if you don't have a Sky box.
they are such a terrible company, i don't blame ya. baffles me that they continue to make money every year. by rights they should've gone out of business already.

Susie Wolff isn't very quick and I still think she only got the drive because of who she married. I don't quite know why she's still there. She'll do the first run out because nothing can be learned from a shakedown. Now perhaps despite not being quick she might be very good at development, I don't know.

Well first the subscribers pay them money, then the advertisers pay them money so people who paid still have to sit through ads, and then all the non-Sky channels have to pay them to be carried on the system. So lots of people are paying them.

It makes sense for a TV box if you want choice of channels including plenty of HD channels. That said it does depend what you're into, and even with choice there's nothing on.. you can spend your entire evening channel hopping and not watching anything.
It makes no sense at all to pay them for web content, overpriced and low quality.

Because those that are in a position to afford it have no choice, if they wish to follow their chosen sport in any level of detail. Whether it's F1, Football or other, live sport is even more crucial now in the advent of social media and Internet in your pocket.
Sky know this and they're able to take big losses for a long time until everyone caves. :(
I do think it's quite anti-competitive that they grossly over-inflate the charges on other platforms for the same service. [TopUp TV, VM, etc]
