Sidepodcast is determined to provide you with a variety of differentmedia to cover all things Formula 1. Not only that, but there aredifferent ways to consume our offerings, so if you're confusedwhere to get started, then this is the page for you.

Audio

Firstly, the audio podcast is a weekly show released on a Sundaynight (or sometimes a Monday if it's a busy day or a late race). You can keep up to date with the shows in the following ways:

  1. If you have iTunes, your best bet is to use the podcast function within that. You can find us here (iTunes link), or just do a search for sidepodcast.
  2. If you don’t have iTunes but use some other kind of podcast catcher, then you’ll need the RSS feed. Just copy and paste the link into your software of choice.
  3. If neither of these options suit you and you’d prefer to dip in and out of the show as and when you want, head to the archives page. Each episode is listed there, with the most recent at the top. Clicking the epsiode title will take you to the show notes page, but there are also links to the audio files that will play directly in your browser.

Video

Less regularly, but still quite frequently, we release videos. Beforeeach race there’s a preview show, featuring information about thelap and ING’s race (crazy) index. We also do team specials, focusing on events and behind the scenes footage of current Formula 1teams and drivers.

  1. Again, the easiest way to get your hands on our videos, is via iTunes. You can find us here (iTunes link), or search for sidepodcast tv.
  2. If you don’t have iTunes and prefer another kind of podcast catcher, then the RSS feed will do you just fine. Copy and paste the link into your software of choice.
  3. If you don’t like RSS feeds, you can keep up with the latest videos on the website. Sidepodcast TV has the videos updated immediately after they are released.
  4. If you’re a fan of other video sites, such as YouTube, you can keep an eye on Sidepodcast releases over there. We’re currently featured on YouTube, Dailymotion and blip.tv.
  5. As always, the archives page has the videos listed in backwards chronological order, if you prefer to dip in and out as desired. Clicking on the episode title will take you to the show notes, whilst the TV link will play the video in your browser.

Sidepodcast Diaries

Sidepodcast Diaries appear in between the usual audio/video episodesand are a highly irregular series, offering a sneak peek behind thescenes at Sidepodcast.

  1. There’s only one way to consume Sidepodcast Diaries, and that is on YouTube. They show up on the main page, but also have their own playlist within the Sidepodcast family of videos.

Transcripts

As an extra service to our faithful listeners, we offer transcriptsof all the audio and video podcasts. They take a while to produce andwhilst the shorter shows are caught up quickly, the longer shows aresometimes delayed. However, they can still be very useful and just asentertaining as the actual shows.

  1. The RSS feed for the transcripts links to the pdf files, and is updated as and when a new transcript is produced. This means they are sometimes out of order.
  2. Each audio and video episode’s show notes contain a link to the transcripts when they are completed.
  3. The archives page has a link to either the pdf or the html transcript page so you can choose which show you want to read and how you want to see it.
