The waiting is almost over and a new F1 season is upon us. To make sure you're up to speed with all the changes to Formula 1 in 2009, Sidepodcast catches up with the drivers and the engineers for the full low-down on what to expect this year.
We take a look inside the workings of two different types of Kinetic Energy Recovery Systems, find out how the teams are addressing new aero regulations, learn how the cars have evolved during the winter and discover how all of this affects the drivers.

That was a wicked video - especially because I could watch it in 1920x1200 fullscreen with no distortion! :-D
I am sooo excited. Just over a day untill the start!!! Got a big exam this week and once it is over my whole focus will on the first race!!! WOOOOO!!!! :D
I am downloading it I type so that I can play it on my iPod on my desk and still work at the same time, honest I will!
I can't believe the season is almost upon us, this time last year I was looking forward to the new season but my mind was more focused on me becoming a father (May 6th) - this season I will be trying to get my little boy into F1. He loves Roary, not that much of a leap is it?
