Renault revealed their 2009 challenger at the Portimao circuit in Portugal this morning, in what can best be described as an understated launch.

The team offer a revised colour scheme for this year, and it's not pretty. The deep blue found in previous seasons has been swapped for the bright red of new oil supplier Total, while more orange has been added to the bodywork.

If you can see past the vile livery, the R29 features revised bodywork complete with shark-fin engine cover and an exceptionally chunky nose. Attractive, it isn't.
