Williams think they've found another circuit that doesn't suit their car, and with the long straights and twisty corners, it is an intriguing mix for the engineers to set up. Some are looking forward to the event, as they love the circuit, others are a bit more superstitious and worried about their previous form.

Wonderful report on the Chinese Circuit, as always Christine... Is it as differcult to do this show or the debrief shows or is one easiler to do than the other?
off topic just quickly, but I had to give my new game its own topic for everyone to have a go at :D

Interesting press conference just now. It'll no doubt be used as fuel for various driver-partisan news stories and blog posts over the next day or so – but to get the full picture I'd advise you to read the transcript in all its glory when it's published...
By the way, a lot of people are making the mistake of looking up the weather forecast for Shanghai. This place is about 60km up the road!
Compared to the Debrief, this is a breeze. Compared to F1 Minute, it's pretty difficult.
alonso's not letting this one go:
"You can be here forever, and you cannot misunderstand what I said. When we say all these things, my best relationship is with Robert and I would like to see him win the championship."
"I will do my own job but when you see the results you prefer some teams to win or some teams to win compared to others."
is it sunday yet?
lewis isn't biting though:

am really hoping both lewis and alonso get competitive cars next year. it'll be wheel-to-wheel action for every one of six races that actually make the calendar :)
The body language was very interesting. Fernando looked chirpy, quite pleased with himself. Lewis looked pensive and his tone was defensive (and his answers evasive).
Kimi was a hoot. The look on his face when the Chinese journalist asked the opening question was a picture of incredulousness.
Must have been a pretty extraordinary question to get that sort of reaction from Kimi. Will the transcripter(s) please get the transcript up quickly, so I can read it before going off to typing class this afternoon?
For the last few days i have been annoyed because the week is going too quickly and i have so much stuff to do, but now it can't come quick enough! :D i really can't wait. i am hoping both Lewis and Alonso are next to each other at the start now, will make for an interesting first corner :D .
hehe will be spectacular stuff :)
I was a bit surprised that Lewis said: "I’ve not really given it much thought to be honest" regarding the stewards erratic decisions. If I was him I'd be going off on the Massa/Bourdais decidion like there's no tomorrow....
